Books

To help you gain a better understanding of the state of "womanity," here are some good books to get you started. While varied in style and approach, the common thread they all share is the struggle for equality of human rights. In the South, the struggle for equality for both men and women is interwoven with the history of slavery. Awareness of that history will help in our work for equal rights today. If you have other titles to share, please send them to equalmeansera@gmail.com.
