Letters to the Editor

Letters to the Editor (LTE) are very effective because they spread information over a wide base and may reach people who otherwise would not be aware of a certain issue or position. Letters are also useful in correcting misinformation.

Below is a collection of published LTE's, commentaries and column's you can review. They provide information as well as ideas for letters of your own. We apologize if some links no longer work. Many papers have made it harder to access individual letters or commentary without a subscription.

For LTE writing tips, click here.  For information on how to submit a LTE to papers in South Carolina as well as a national listing by state, click here.
