Women of the House Scorecard

There are 124 districts in the House of Representatives, of which only 24 are represented by women.  Women account for 51% of the population in South Carolina, yet only hold 19% of the seats in the House (and 13% in the Senate!).  That's disturbing, but it's also the reason why we need to work even harder to have our voices heard.

House Joint Resolution H 3258 was sponsored by Representatives Gilda Cobb-Hunter and Spencer Wetmore. The women of the SC House are listed below. The pictures are active links to each members congressional listing.

A dark green frame indicates those who have signed on as sponsors of H 3258.  A light green frame indicates legislators who supported the resolution last session, but have yet to sign on again.
